Get help with a failed payment without making a duplicate payment.

If you receive a failed-payment notice for a lesson, read the notice and check which lesson it refers to. Don’t submit a new lesson request or make a separate payment just to try the charge again.

Check the payment details

  1. Confirm the coach and lesson date in the notification.

  2. Open Payment method in the student dashboard and review the masked card and expiry.

  3. If the card is expired or needs replacing, use Replace to save the correct card.

  4. Contact BirdieYard support if you need to resolve the failed charge or don’t recognize the lesson.

The failed-payment email may say that you don’t need to take action immediately. Follow any case-specific instructions from support. Replacing your card is separate from recovering the failed payment and doesn’t automatically retry that charge.

What to include when you contact support

Share your account email, coach, lesson date, the notice or error text, and whether you’ve updated your saved card. Don’t send full card details, a security code, or a banking password.

A failed charge doesn’t automatically cancel or undo a lesson that already took place. Likewise, a completed lesson status doesn’t prove its payment succeeded.

If you think a payment already succeeded

Tell support before taking another payment action. A person can investigate the payment record and help avoid a duplicate charge. Fin can explain the process but can’t independently retry or settle a payment.

If you still need help, open BirdieYard chat and ask for a person. If chat isn’t available, email [email protected].
