Your lesson’s Total is the amount to check before sending your request. The price breakdown shows the lesson price and the BirdieYard service fee separately so you can see how they add up.
What the price breakdown means
Lesson price: The golfer-facing price for the lesson you selected.
BirdieYard service fee: The additional amount shown in the breakdown for that lesson.
Total: The lesson price plus the displayed service fee.
A “from” price on a profile is a starting price. Check the specific lesson, its duration, and the full breakdown in your request before sending it.
A simple example
If your breakdown shows a lesson price of $80.50 and a BirdieYard service fee of $3.50, your total is $84.00.
This is an example, not a price for every lesson. The service fee is not a single fixed percentage of the lesson price. Use the dollar amounts shown for your own request.
Can the price change after I send a request?
BirdieYard saves the price breakdown when you submit a request for a lesson offering. A later change to that offering’s price does not automatically change the saved price for your existing request. Review any new or changed proposal before confirming a lesson.
Booking again or using a coach’s referral link does not automatically give you a lower golfer-facing lesson price.
Does sending a request charge my card?
Saving a card or sending a lesson request does not charge you for the lesson at that point. For an eligible lesson paid through BirdieYard, the saved card is charged after the coach marks the lesson completed.
If a price or charge looks wrong
Open BirdieYard chat and ask for a person, or email [email protected]. Include the coach’s name, lesson date, and the amount you expected. Don’t send your full card number or security code.
