Before your first lesson, check that it’s confirmed and review the coach’s instructions. A submitted request or selected time alone doesn’t mean the lesson is booked.

Before you leave

  1. Open the lesson in My Lessons and confirm the date, time, and teaching location.

  2. Read the coach’s note and any What to bring details.

  3. Confirm practical arrangements that aren’t clear, such as the meeting point, equipment, access, parking, or weather plans.

  4. Think about one or two things you’d like help with so you can explain your goals.

Bring your own clubs if that’s what you’ve agreed with your coach. Don’t assume clubs, balls, range access, or other extras are included unless the lesson details or coach confirm it.

If the location is private

A public profile may show only a general area for a private teaching location. Confirm the meeting instructions directly with your coach before traveling; don’t guess the address from a map or public listing.

If your plans change

Tell your coach promptly and use the booking’s cancellation controls when appropriate. For a new time, agree the change with your coach and verify the updated details in BirdieYard.

If you can’t reach your coach or the booking details are unclear, ask support for help before making assumptions about where or when to attend.

If you still need help, open BirdieYard chat and ask for a person. If chat isn’t available, email [email protected].
