Lesson messages and email notifications

Find coach replies and booking updates, and troubleshoot missing emails.

BirdieYard uses email for lesson updates and coach replies. You can also open the relevant lesson request in your dashboard to check its latest status and available actions.

Where to look

  • Golfers: Open My Lessons and select the request. Check the email address used to sign in for replies, proposals, and booking updates.

  • Coaches: Open the Lead Inbox to review requests and send replies. Use the request and calendar to check the current lesson status.

Read the message and the status together. A reply or proposed time is not necessarily a confirmed booking. Complete any confirmation step shown in the request.

If an email is missing

  1. Check that you’re looking in the inbox for your BirdieYard account email.

  2. Check spam, junk, and other filtered folders.

  3. Open the request in BirdieYard and see whether the expected reply, proposal, or booking update appears there.

  4. If the email and dashboard disagree, contact support with the coach’s name, lesson date, and the update you expected.

BirdieYard does not currently offer lesson support through SMS. Don’t rely on receiving a text reminder.

Contacting your coach

Use the communication options shown on your request or the contact arrangements you have agreed with your coach. Do not assume that replying to every automated notification will reach the coach; check the message’s instructions.

If you still need help, open BirdieYard chat and ask for a person. If chat isn’t available, email [email protected].
