Your public coach profile and your private account or lesson information serve different purposes. Publish only the information you want golfers to see on your profile.
Public coach information
A published profile can show your coaching description, photos, lessons, public location context, credentials, and professional links. Check the public page after editing so you know what visitors can see.
Exact private or residential teaching addresses should not appear on public coach surfaces. Avoid adding one yourself in an introduction, photo, or link. Confirm appropriate meeting instructions with the golfer before a lesson rather than assuming the full address is sent automatically.
Requests and coaching records
Information submitted in a lesson request helps the selected coach respond. Some contact details remain hidden until the lesson is scheduled or completed. Use the request workflow while those details are unavailable.
In coaching records, distinguish Private notes from Summary shared with student. Don’t put information intended only for you in a field marked for sharing.
Cards and personal data
Stripe handles card details; BirdieYard shows a masked card summary rather than your full card number. The Privacy Policy explains data use, sharing, and retention in more detail.
Report accidental exposure
If a private address or other personal information appears publicly, contact [email protected] and BirdieYard support promptly. Share the page link and the field involved; avoid repeating sensitive information unnecessarily.
